Carrying Goodness
Goodwill Houston, H-E-B, and the Houston Food Bank are joining forces to make giving back even easier. When you donate your gently used items to Goodwill using reusable bags, you’re not only supporting sustainability, you’re also helping provide vital job resources and nutritious food for families in our community. Together, we’re creating a stronger, greener Houston.

Donate to Goodwill Houston
- Drop off your empty or donation-filled reusable bags at any Goodwill Houston.
- Your donations will be sold in Goodwill Houston stores, funding career training, and employment placement services for our community.
Support the Houston Food Bank
- Your donated reusable bags won’t go to waste! Goodwill Houston will donate them to the San Antonio Food Bank to help distribute groceries to families in need.
- Your donations help fight hunger and build a more sustainable future.
Why It Matters
The goal is simple: to repurpose for good.
- Your Goodwill donations directly support the organization’s mission of Changing Lives Through the Power of Work by helping fund free career training and job placement services.
- Giving reusable bags and secondhand items a new purpose helps create a more sustainable community.
- This collaboration helps connect donation, sustainability, and community impact across the Houston area.
