PR & Marketing Department Receives Award for Professional Communications

This June, Goodwill Houston’s PR & Marketing Department was awarded a Bronze Quill Award of Excellence in Communications Skills by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Houston chapter for their “Mallory’s Story” video. The video features Mallory, a Goodwill Houston store manager, as she recounts her history of drug use, incarceration, and how she came to work at Goodwill. Mallory’s Story exemplifies Goodwill Houston’s mission of employing individuals with that have been incarcerated, struggled with addiction issues, or possess other barriers to employment.  We invite you to view “Mallory’s Story” here.
