Goodwill is grateful for donations of many kinds, from material donations, to volunteer time, to in-kind services such as printing and refreshments, to financial donations.

A gift to Goodwill will mean more training, more education and more job opportunities for special needs populations.
While Goodwill strives to be as self-supporting as possible by generating nearly 80% of our revenues through the sale of donated materials and another 10% through contract fulfillment services and temporary employment services, the remaining 10% must come from private donations gifted by caring individuals, corporations, foundations, and estate planned gifts.
Goodwill places 90 cents of every dollar into programs, keeping overhead as low as possible. Goodwill is a 501 c 3 charitable organization that has served the community for over 60 years as a trusted name in the field of non-profit. The Better Business Bureau has recognized Goodwill Houston with an Award of Excellence, further validating the integrity of this organization. In addition, Goodwill Houston was honored with the National Achiever of the Year/Warren Hill-Donation Attendant, as well as the Board Leader of the Year/Sterling McCall out of 186 Goodwills in the nation. All gifts are tax deductible to the fullest possible extent of the law.
