City Wide Job Fair a Success

Goodwill Houston held its first City-Wide Job Fair on October 24 at the West Gray Metropolitan Multi-Service Center. The event was specifically aimed at hiring retail managers.
The set-up included areas for every stage of the hiring process. Attendees filled out job applications then moved to a waiting area while their applications and resumes were reviewed. Those who met the qualifications were then interviewed by a Store Manager or District Sales Manager from the store closest to the applicant's home.
The fair drew 79 attendees, and 8 new employees were hired! Goodwill Houston is excited to add new members to the team that is Changing Lives Through the Power of Work.
